British college student Anna (Felicity Jones) falls in love with her American classmate Jacob (Anton Yelchin) only to be separated from him when she violates the terms of her visa. The film explores the hopefulness and heartbreaks of a couple being apart from each other.

At the 2011 Sundance Film Festival Like Crazy won the Grand Jury Prize for Best Picture and The Special Jury Prize for Best Actress for Felicity Jones.

The film was shot with a modified Canon EOS 7D using Zeiss Ultra Prime lenses.
